The FLUX protocol from DeLorean Labs is a blockchain vehicle reservation system. The token that lies at the heart of the system is $DMC. It is designed to become the standard application for vehicle brands worldwide.

According to DeLorean:

•  FLUX will provide customers with a transparent platform to digitally purchase, trade, sell, authenticate, and track vehicles around the world.
• FLUX will also provide vehicle analytics to ensure complete transparency regarding vehicle ownership and performance data such as battery maintenance, repairs, accident reports, verified odometer readings, etc. This will be pivotal for data-driven purchase decisions in the secondary market. 

The first verrsion of its Reservation Marketplace is scheduled for launch on DeLorean.com later this year.

We've heard about endless reboots of this iconic brand which never materialised. Will consumers care about a blockchain based system for buying cars and keeping track of its maintenance?
